Hi I am Miss Buffy and I have been the
First/Second Grade Teacher since 2022. I worked for Bradford Area School District as a substitute teacher from 2006
to 2008. I was a Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS) at The Guidance Center from 2008 to 2011. I also worked for Head Start as a preschool teacher for a few months before coming to The Learning Center in 2022.
I graduated from Pitt-Bradford with a B.S. in Biology in 2003 and obtained a PA Instructional I Teacher Certificate in 2008 from Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA.
I love teaching first and second grade! I have always loved working with children and I am so grateful to be a teacher at TLC. Everyone is very friendly and always willing to support each other. I enjoy teaching the traditional methods, such as Montessori, in my classroom.
I have lived in the Bradford area my whole life. I am married with four
daughters, so I stay pretty busy with after school activities. My family and I enjoy going to the beach and white water rafting in West Virginia during the summers. I love birds and seahorses!
