Hi I am Jill! I have been TLC’s Director since 2022.  I also taught gym class for the 2021-2022 school year. I am from Bradford originally, but spent a year in NC teaching then moved to Philadelphia for 8 years before moving back to Bradford

I went to Edinboro University with a major in Health and Phys Ed (K-12), a minor in psychology and a minor in fitness management

I spent 11 years working at a summer camp in The Poconos, and worked year round in management for 8 years.  We had 650 kids and 300 staff for 8 weeks every summer!

 

I love The Learning Center.  Both of my kids have gone to TLC from preschool through 6th grade.  I went to TLC as a kid as well.

So, I have been on 'all sides' of the school.  I think it is a welcoming, loving environment to support child development and learning.  It is a safe place where kids thrive and can feel confident.  I like the intimate, smaller setting of TLC with freedom to extend learning outside of the classroom.  

 

I love to be outside doing just about anything!  I love sports, watching or playing.  And I love to travel.

 

Fun Fact:  Half of our family lives in England, so we travel there often.
