Harriet Geahr

Hi I am Harriet! 

I have been working at TLC as the door greeter and lunch lady for 3rd/4th and 5th/6th grade lunch's since the start of the 2025/2026 school year.  I grew up in Meadville and came to Bradford for college.  I attended the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford and graduated with a Bachelors in Human Relations with a double minor in Archaeology and Anthropology.

I love that The Learning Center feels like one big family.  I get to hear the stories of all the children, and sometimes the parents, when they first arrive at school.  Although lunch can be chaotic, I hear about all the exciting things happening in and out of school for the kids. My kids have been attending TLC since the 2022 school year!  At least one of my 3 kids has been in every classroom from the 4 year old preeschool room up to now 5th and 6th grade!

I enjoy playing video games and boardgames with my family.  I also love to crochet.

Fun Facts:  I lived in a one room school house in Michigan with my family until I was 5 before moving to Pennsylvania. 

I have two sassy bearded dragons, 2 curious orange cats, and a bunch of fish as pets.
